I completed my Masters degree in Counselling Psychology in 1991 and did my internship at Student Counselling at the University of Pretoria.
I moved to Nelspruit in 1995 and have been in private practice here ever since.
I am registered with the HPCSA. I am a registered hypnotherapist with the Wellness Institute, an Imago relationship coach, and a BWRT and EMDR practitioner. I also do subject and career choice assessments.
Who I work with
I work mainly with teenagers and adults.
Focus areas include anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, post-traumatic stress, grief, work stress, burnout, conflict management, relationship issues, work-related issues, psychological wellbeing, and subject and career choice.
How I work
I am trained in several approaches: hypnotherapy, Imago, BWRT, EMDR and Brainspotting. That means the approach can be matched to the person, and not the other way round.
You do not need to know which one you need. That is what the first session is for.
