What I do

I am a counselling psychologist. I work mainly with teenagers and adults, with difficulties such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, burnout and relationships. I also do subject and career choice assessments for learners.

Therapies and assessments

Hypnotherapy

Relaxation and suggestion, used to work with a pattern of behaviour you would like to change.

For couples. A structured way of talking and listening that looks at the patterns behind conflict.

BWRT

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing. A structured approach most often used after trauma.

A quiet approach, based on the idea that where you look affects how you feel.

For learners choosing subjects for Grade 10, or a career in Grade 11 and matric.
